My true love

I was 15 and a freshman in high school when I met my husband. I was introduced to him by my older sister who is married to my husband’s older brother. When we first met he said I was too young so we waited a while to start dating. I will never forget our first kiss and that is when we both fell in love. We dated for 4 years then we got married. I have been married for 30 years as of July 2016. We have three great sons who are all grown up now. I could not imagine my life any different. #BLESSED

I married my best friend

Joe and I have been great friends for over 10 years. We did lose touch for about 5 years, but in the world of social media called Facebook we rekindled our friendship. I had found him on there and my pickup line was: “Hey Joe! What ya know?” We laughed, had a great conversation and exchanged phone numbers. About a month into our friendship, he asked me out on a date. We have been going strong ever since and we were married on June 25, 2016. We’ve been living happily ever after!

Still together, still in love

We were married on Dec 14, 1974 in a snowstorm. Afterwards we moved to a big old farmhouse that was my husband’s grandfather’s home. Now after 43 years, two daughters, three sons and six grandkids, this fella still moves my heart! It was love at first sight and still is everyday!

Getting married after 27 years apart

I fell in love with a girl and it was love at first sight. I was the new kid in school and one day I gave this girl my heart and soul. It was like a lightning strike. I didn’t even know her name until halfway through the year. We became friends but that was it. She graduated and moved to a different high school as I did. This was in 1988. 27 years later, divorce, bankruptcy, laid off twice landed me a job where I crossed her path. I recognized her immediately and almost died. We are now getting married.
